enhancing our biodiversity by participating in some of our activities.

Community Tree Planting
Sunday 1st August, 2010 - 10.00am
Meet - Above the waterfall, Unitec side of creek,
upstream from Unitec Residence carpark,
down the slope from large pine trees.
Access from Great North Road - opposite Alverston St or
through Unitec Mt Albert Campus via Gate 4.
Wear - sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing
for cold or wet weather.
Bring - garden gloves and a spade
Bring your family and friends - and enjoy a morning on the creek,
maybe followed by a walk. Refreshments provided.

Possum Monitoring
Saturday 14th and 21st August, 2010 - 9.00am

Monitoring & Pest Control Programme
We have a range of activities where we are looking
for local volunteers to become involved in our
'monitoring and pest control' programme in an on-going way.
These include monitoring of both native species and pest species,
and control of rodents and possums.
