Oakley Creek Te Auaunga Activities
Friends of Oakley Creek is supporting a new initiative on Oakley Creek - Help Mt Albert St Judes Scouts restore a section of Oakley Creek Discover a new part of Oakley Creek Te Auaunga, and be part of restoring it to its original, beautiful state. Support our local Scout Group to clear weeds from the creek bank in preparation for planting native species in the Autumn. When - Sunday 30th November - 10.00am-2.00pm Where - 1213A New North Road, Mt Albert (above Pak'n'Save) Families welcome - lunch provided. This includes the monitoring of weta and lizards; and pests - rats, possums, rabbits etc. - and subsequent pest control. We are needing on-going assistance with this programme.
